The largest central city stadium in Khmelnytskyi, the home arena of the football club Podillia. It was once replaced by a hippodrome, and during World War II by a landfill. After heavy rains, the place was often waterlogged. But despite all the difficulties, the construction of the stadium was carried out in record time – in a month and a half. The grand opening of the city stadium took place on May 16, 1950. This day became a big event in the sports life of Proskuriv (now Khmelnytskyi) – finally a more or less modern stadium appeared in town. During its long existence, the stadium has been restored only twice.
Today, interregional football matches, open-air concerts, seminars, etc. take place at the Podillia Stadium.
