Botanical Garden of Khmelnytskyi National University

The botanical garden on the territory of the university impresses with its lush vegetation and diversity of flora. The garden was laid in October 2003. Since then, it has been replenished with various types of trees, flowers and shrubs. Now the garden occupies 4.8 hectares and covers almost the entire territory of the national university. Here you can see more than 1000 species of plants. It is even difficult to imagine that there were once trading platforms and garages on this place. In 2003 the first collection plants were planted – magnolia cobus, bear nut and others, in 2004-2005 the Japanese garden was created, there was an exposition of conifers, in 2006 a birch grove was planted, and in 2007 – a sycamore alley.
