The history of the church in the village of Knyzhkivtsi takes us back to the second half of the 18th century, when the well-known Haydamak uprising led by M. Zalizniak also covered Podillia. Surprisingly, all this time the church seemed to be protected from external evils. St. Paraskeva Church is one of the few that operated even during the Soviet era. It is now subordinated to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
